Shufersal App

After the online shopping site was launched, I went on to its "little sister" – the app.
The existing version had an outdated design with a lot of external secondary apps added on.
The client needed to integrate new back-end systems (Hybris) and to apply the new language across all the platforms.

Shufersal has one app with multiple uses. It can be used for online purchasing,
but most users search the app for coupons that they can take physically to the stores.
In the app's Ux and design, we concentrated on different, disparate uses.
Coupon users are part of the physical world and use GPS and notification technologies to upgrade their physical experience.
In contrast, online users avoid human contact and prefer to press the "add-to-cart" button and have their purchases delivered to their door. Between these two extremes, we integrated new features of smart lists to use in the store, a call center that sends text messages, a smart shopping advisor, product scanning, and more. The Beta version is being launched in December 2020; this is just the first step in the latest advances of Israeli E-commerce - shopping experience of the 21st century.
